Jackie Baker started making jewelry in 1996 and hasn’t stopped. She says that it was very relaxing at first to just play with beads, but when she accumulated too many, she started selling her creations. Her jewelry is one-of-a-kind necklaces, bracelets and earrings. The materials she uses are semi-precious stones, venetian glass and Swarovski crystals. She also uses beach finds such as beach glass, fossils, and crinoids.  Meet artist Jackie Baker on Art Attack Weekend.

Cathy Green was introduced to clay in high-school in the basement of the old art museum in Grand Rapids in the min-1970’s She recalls that the teacher was eccentric and made us all fall in love with the medium. Green took it back up in 1993 and fell back in love with it all over again. She is enamored by nature and all her work features nature motifs.
